Introduction to Ayurveda

About the course

This course is an immersion in the teachings of Ayurveda and mind-body health. When our body and mind are balanced, we have created a solid foundation to make conscious choices, expand our awareness and enrich our spiritual lives. We will explore how to benefit from the principles and practical tools of Ayurveda in your daily life, including understanding your unique mind-body type (dosha), enhancing nutrition, reducing emotional turbulence and re-awakening the senses. From the Ayurvedic perspective, human beings are not viewed as mere thinking physical machines, but rather as fields of intelligence in dynamic exchange with the energy and information of the environment. Health is a state of vibrant balance in which all the layers of one’s life are integrated. This course provides the tools to enhance your physical and emotional wellbeing and build a balanced foundation for a spiritual life through understanding how to make conscious choices that enliven the nourishing connection between body, mind and spirit.
